Welcome to Christinwood, breeders of Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherds.
My passion for both these wonderful breeds fuels my aim to produce pups of exceptional quality, with sound temperaments and outgoing and friendly personalities.
I am proud to have been awarded Kennel Club Assured Breeder status and welcome and adhere to the strict health and breeding guidelines laid down by the scheme. We have, again, passed our Assured Breeder Inspection with flying colours and been awarded UKAS Accreditaion.
All my breeding is carried out with the well being of the individual breed in mind, endeavouring to maintain the true ethos of both breeds - the ability to move properly, work when required and be of sound temperament. I believe that only healthy, happy bitches can produce healthy, happy pups.
All the dogs are members of our family and are loved unconditionally. Although Christinwood breeding is on a small scale, every detail is given the fullest attention. I will use only the best and most carefully selected stud dogs on my girls, health screening results, careful research and temperament play a huge role in my choice of stud. I will not breed from dogs who I know have health problems, no matter how pleasing to the eye they might be.
Christinwood puppies are very well socialised, raised within the family environment and are highly socialised. Pups are encouraged to play, to interact with our other dogs and visitors. Puppies are raised hearing all the sounds of a busy household, and by the time they leave for their new homes have been for a car ride, experienced visiting the vet, met cats, heard and seen farm animals and will have begun to get used to a collar and lead.
Once you have decided to make a Christinwood pup a member of your family, I encourage you to visit and play with the puppies regularly, helping to form an early bond between you and your new pup. These visits give you the opportunity to see your puppy developing and give you the chance to ask any questions that you have about raising and caring for your new addition.
All pups are KC Registered, Insured, Wormed, Micro-Chipped and Vet Checked and leave for their new homes with food and a comprehensive Puppy Pack containing all relevant KC Papers, Diet Information and Advice Sheets. I expect all new owners to sign a Contract of Sale, which includes a re-homing clause.
I am always available to offer lifelong help, advice and guidance, and I look forward to receiving updates and photos of your pups.
