I am a retired Police Dog handler and I now run my own dog behavioural business 'Rehabilitation and Training' , rehabilitating and training all dogs from puppies through to aggressive adult rescue dogs that would have otherwise have been put to sleep. I deal with their varied behavioural issues on a one to one basis at my clients home address, where I can see your dog behaving naturally in their own environment, giving me a better idea of why your dog is doing what they are doing.
Throughout this behavioural consultation, I demonstrate with you the training techniques required to help solve your dogs behaviour, using up to date and reliable positive reward based training methods. This means hands on training both indoors and outdoors around people and other dogs and anything else that may cause your dog an issue.
Included in my fee for my Dog Behavioural Consultation is a comprehensive personalised reference document to help you with your ongoing training for the coming weeks, months and years ahead. Also included in my fee for the dog behavioural session and puppy training one to one sessions is my ongoing help and support via phone consultations, text messages or emails for as long as you require.
I am the recommended dog behaviourist with 'Vets 4 Pets' in both Colchester and Braintree, as well as 'Vista Vets' in Chelmsford.
I currently write a dog behavioural column for the 'Dog Friendly' magazine which is a national magazine promoting dog friendly holiday locations, and I have appeared on several TV shows and worked with several celebrities.
