We hold one-to-one sessions for puppies, junior and adult dogs in a large outdoor training area with adjoining indoor facilities, both of which are fully secured and well equipped for training and behaviour requirements.

All consultations are conducted in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere at a pleasant location in the centre of West Cornwall and appointments can be arranged at a time to suit your personal schedule and are available seven days a week.

We are best placed to provide the specific help and advice you may need due to our many years of experience, training, and research in Canine Psychology and teach using progressive reinforcement and clicker training methods. These methods reward the behaviours you want your dog to do whilst as far as possible preventing and re-directing any unwanted behaviours.

I am a registered animal training instructor with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC), a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and I am also a member of The Pet Professional Guild British Isles (PPGBI), which is an organisation representing pet industry professionals who are committed to science based, force-free training and pet care. Members understand 'force free' to mean: no shock, no pain, no choke, no fear, no physical force and no physical moulding. Therefore no compulsion based methods are employed to train or care for a pet.

I teach life skills, walking on a loose lead, not jumping up, recall, sits/downs/stands, emergency stop, leave and all the basics, fun stuff and anything the owner wants. I specialise in any fear/reactive (aggressive) issues towards people and dogs using a combination of counter conditioning, desensitisation and Behaviour Adjustment Therapy.
