We opened Mucky Pups in 2007. From modest beginnings we are now a busy grooming studio with two fully trained City and Guild groomers, working across a large variety of breeds from energetic gun dogs to the cutest toys and the most handsome utility breeds.
Our starting point is always to groom to breed standard but the needs of the dog in question and the client is our first priority.
We also groom cats, from basic brushing out and de-matting to bathing and blow-drying and clipping.
t the heart of what we do is the desire to make being groomed as pleasant and stress free as possible. A big part of this is making sure that we don’t have lines of dogs sitting in holding crates waiting anxiously to be groomed or picked up. We each work on one dog at a time from brushing out and bathing to final clip and style and when they go home we are ready to groom the next two doggy customers.
