Southern K9 training is run by Miguel Fontes a NASDU (National Association of Professional Dog Userd )approved instructor/trainer.
We run classes and one to one sessions in obedience, puppy training classes and Fun Agility and Dog Boot camps and Residential Training. Although Southern K9 training specialize in training for security sector and training for family protection dogs.
Our instructor/trainer ,received his training during time spent as assistant trainer to one of leading dog training academies in UK as well as abroad training with some of the European Best Trainers.
His experience does not limit to training dogs.He is also a dog handler himself,career that he pursuit after being an army dog handler/trainer in his home country of Portugal during his younger years.
Miguel's education in training sector did not stop there as he believes there is always space for improvement and dogs mentality is far more complex one would have thought.
Every dog and every owner is his new challenge and he is always eager to help with all sort of behavioural problems
