Aquithie Boarding Kennels offer a professional service at all times. We offer a quarantine and boarding service which is open to animals 365 days of the year. Based in rural Aberdeenshire, we have plenty of space for your pets to enjoy a relaxed and tranquil stay. Pets with special needs are catered for and nothing is too much trouble. Not all boarding kennels provide dog walking services as part of the stay, but at Aquithie dogs are walked in the spacious grounds at no extra charge - and it's done on a one-dog-one-person basis, meaning your dog gets due care and attention at all times. If you wish to take advantage of this free service, please just ask at the time of booking. If you have just acquired a new puppy and need puppy training advice, or perhaps have just re homed a dog from a rescue centre and need to be able to understand and communicate with your new dog, you will benefit from attending one of our training classes. The classes will give you all the information you require in order to gain the respect of your dog and have a long and happy relationship. We do not use clickers or similar training aids. Your pet is a very special member of your family. Microchipping is a simple, but very effective, to reunite lost pets with their families. It gives owners peace of mind. If you would like your pet microchipped while he/she is with us in boarding we will be happy to arrange it. Or, please telephone us to make an appointment. Grooming & trimming may be available while your dogs are staying. Please discuss any requirements at the time of booking.

Real value for money and really dedicated staff

Rocky, our German Shepherd was very well looked after by the team at Aquithie. He was 11 and had numerous health issues - including bad joints and bowel problems. Since Aquithie said they are very comfortable dealing with pets with special needs, we decided to book him in there. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. He was given special food at my request, walked at no extra charge and was a very happy dog when I collected him again. I would highly recommend Aquithie Kennels - they really know what they are doing!
