K9training4u specialises in training pet dogs. Julie spent 17 years in the police and was involved in the Dorset Police Puppy Scheme. She trained as a Dog Listener and has studied for qualifications in pet training with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and animal behaviour with Kingston Maurward College. Having initially concentrated on helping pet owners who were struggling with their dogs behaviour, she now runs puppy and older dog training classes in a bid to raise awareness of how to avoid problems arising in the first place and how to help owners correct any behaviour problems they are experiencing at an early stage. K9training4u runs puppy training classes and older dog training classes in Charmouth, Dorset. Julie travels to see clients for one to one consultations in the Lyme Regis, Axminster, Seaton, Bridport, Beaminster and Charmouth areas. Travelling further afield when required. Julie is a strong advocate in helping owners create a strong bond with their dog and as such is involved in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and runs obedience Rally classes.
