Comprehensive, humane grooming service by experienced dog handler and groomer (ex-tutor, London Academy), with emphasis on canine comfort and welfare. Services include hand-stripping, clipping, trimming; bathing and coat conditioning; hand-drying; hand finishing; nail clipping; ear and eye cleaning. No cage driers are used. Dogs are given regular breaks from the grooming table and access to a garden. Only one dog groomed per morning/afternoon. No time limits: the grooming session takes ‘as long as it takes’ to avoid stress and to make the grooming experience as pleasurable as possible. The Doghouse also offers bespoke home-from-home boarding – for dogs who think they should enjoy their holidays as much as their owners do.
