Big Paws Little Paws is a premium 1:1 dog walking service based in Old Knebworth and covering the surrounding North Hertfordshire villages. Fully Insured and Police (CRB) checked, we offer tailor made country walks designed to your pets specific age and breed requirements. We do NOT group walk unless dogs are from the same household and then subject to a maximum of 3 dogs. This way you can get on with your busy lives assured that your pet is getting 1:1 attention & is in both safe and capable hands. Your dog will be walked on the leash until such time as we are confident that he/she knows and trusts us and will return when called and only then, with your written consent. Despite this restriction you can be assured that your dog will enjoy a wide range of walks on public footpaths and bridleways, across fields and through woodland, ensuring that he/she will never get bored and that you can return home to a tired but contented dog. SERVICE INCLUDES: * Dog/s picked up and returned from your home. * Cleaning up any accidents whilst out. * Dog/s provided with a quick rub off if wet/muddy before being entered into your home. *Provide dog/s with a full bowl of water before being left. OPTIONS & PRICING: We offer both regular and occassional dog walking as follows: * October to April - Monday to Friday from 9.15 am to 3.00 pm * May to September - Monday to Friday from 9.15 am to 6.00 pm * Saturdays by arrangement only charged at 150% of the weekday rate. ** Sundays & Bank Holidays by arrangement only charged at 200% of the weekday rate. *** Outside of our standard hours, emergency cover can be arranged by agreement. FEES: * for the first dog per household: * 30 minutes @ £10.00 per dog * 60 minutes @ £15.00 per dog * 90 minutes @ £20.00 per dog * 120 Minutes @ £24.00 per dog. Additional dogs from within same household charged at 50% of the above rates. We also offer puppy / older dog home visits for pets that do not require walking but which may need to be let out or visited during the day. Prices for this service range from £9 per visit, with full details available on the web site. PET TAXI/AMBULANCE with Big Paws Little Paws You may prefer to keep your car clean and free from pet hair or you may just not have the time to take your pet where it needs to go. You may not drive and taxi drivers can be very reluctant to carry pets in their vehicles. In response to client requests, we are now able to offer a LOCAL door to door sevice in our own airconditioned vehicles. Due to DEFRA regulations we do not currently provide a transport service for journeys over 65km. Amongst other things we offer services to: Vets/Animal Hospital Groomers Breeder Kennels/Cattery OUR CHARGES: £15 per hour plus 45 pence per mile to and from destination. THE WAY FORWARD: Before taking on a new client, it is essential for us to visit you in your dogs home environment to meet both you and your pet, here we can discuss your requirements and any queries you may have. At this meeting if you decide that you wish to use our services we will ask you to complete a Veterinary release form and ask that you sign your agreement to our terms and conditions of service, examples of which can be found on our web-site. We aim to keep Big Paws Little Paws a flexible, client focussed business with a commitment to the provision of a 1:1 , service for local dog owners who may be out all day, unexpectedly called away from home, elderly, hospitalised or who simply have other commitments whether regular or occasional.
