Highwood Kennels is a brand new facility that meets the high expectations of dog owners today. The kennels and exercise runs have been built to the very highest standard using a modular GRP system and are all housed internally within a fully insulated building. We wanted to eliminate the cold, damp and draughty outdoor runs to create an environment that the majority of dogs are used to at home. The individual kennels are thermostatically heated and have their own lighting and ventilation system. We have moved away from the typical painted concrete and cold tiled floors and have invested in state of the art flooring which is both warm, soft to walk and lie on. Dogs boarding with us at Highwood Kennels can look forward to off-leash exercise in our 2 acre securely fenced grass paddock and on rainy days they can remain warm and dry in our 20 x 60ft heated indoor play arena. We also have a purpose built grooming parlour on site complete with 5 metre 'dog wash' which dog owners can book to wash their own dog if they so require. We offer doggie day care services to clients wishing to visit the local tourist attractions and we offer a collection and drop off service using our specially adapted pet transport van. Here at Highwood Kennels we offer a first class service to both dogs and their owners incorporating the very highest standard of care in state of the art accommodation.
