The Pet Behaviour Clinic is run by Stephanie Waugh DipCABT. Stephanie is a fully qualifed pet behaviourist and holds an advanced diploma in companion animal behaviour therapy. Stephanie is also a member of CAPBT.
At The Pet Behaviour Clinic we use modern, kind and effective methods. We specialise in clicker training as this is one of the quickest and most enjoyable ways to train your pet. We do not promote out-dated dominance theory or cruel devices such as shock collars.
We offer behaviour consultations to help pets with problems such as aggression. Behaviour consultations take place in your own home and last between 1-2 hours. During the visit a history of the problem behaviour is taken and a treatment plan is devised. Each animal is treated as an individual and there are no one size fits all treatment plans. Each aspect of the treatment plan is explained and demonstrated so you are entirely comfortable. A report is sent after the visit and on-going help and support is available.
A training consultation is available to owners who have dogs that need obedience training such as re-call and leadwork. A one-off lesson is available or a series of lessons.
Dog training classes are held in Carluke on regular basis. Classes are small and use clicker training throughout.
