I am passionate about training gundogs, not only for my enjoyment but for the great pleasure I see when any dogs are doing what they are bred to do. Training and working my own gundog’s dogs every day for the last 3 years means I have encountered many training issues that needed correction early in the dogs training program. I am also very fortunate to have access to great training grounds. By working with owners and dogs I am able to provide positive training techniques and correct behavior problems. I offer 1-2-1 gundog training to owners and handlers, training basic to advanced gundog training. I believe there are many ways to help dogs to become balanced and they include both positive reinforcement techniques and human corrections. Ultimately the goal is the same to help the dog; by working together we can achieve a happy trained/balanced dog. People ask me when do I start training my dog, I always say you start training your dogs from the moment you bring it home. Training is working progress and started early enough; with constancy with ensure a happy well balanced dog.
