Yorkshire Terrier & Toy Breed Rescue - Sue Harrowell Sleaford Lincolnshire NG34 Ph: (01529) 455623 Email
My name is Sue Harrowell and I am the founder of The Yorkshire Terrier and Toy Breed Rescue (TYT&TBR). The rescue was started nearly 22 years ago and has been running successfully ever since. I have put together a carefully chosen team of staff members, and have a small army of dedicated people all over the country volunteering time to rescue dogs. All the dogs we rescue go to competent, confident foster carers for a minimum 2-week assessment. The dogs are then spayed/neutered; micro chipped, vaccinated, wormed and any medical attention given before being adopted out to carefully considered and checked homes. All new homes are offered a full 24/7 rescue back should the adoption not work out for any reason. The benefits of allowing us to rescue the small dogs in your care are many including, but not exclusively, freeing up your vital kennel space - which is at a premium. Dogs are not PTS unless there are very exceptional circumstances. Members of the general public are able to access a dog closely matched to their needs without the need to go to breeders or puppy farmers, which, as you know, simply perpetuates the ever-growing problems regarding dogs. We are willing to come to you where ever and when ever possible thus freeing up your valuable time. We have been running for a very long time and TYT&TBR has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Furthermore, our vital work is supported by The James Wellbeloved foundation. This serves to demonstrate not only our reputability but also confidence in TYT&TBR from a major market leader. We can also provide you with references from our Vets and many satisfied adopters. Our rescue has recently gone through a restructure, part of which includes a brand new website and new member forum. I am including a link for you to come and see for yourself. I do hope you will look in on us. You will be made most welcome and invited to join our rather large family of wonderful people. ID: 13228 |
