Now to the dogues, we have four at the moment, but this number seems to increase quite regularly. We started with Cain two and half years ago, and only intended to keep him as a pet, he comes from Barnfarm and Redgrits lines,after several enquiries if we had any pups, we decided to get him a girlfreind! So along came Casy, she comes from Red powerpack lines. They mated in April and Casy had our first litter in June, eight stunning pups, five boys and three girls, from which came Lazlow our little boy (not!!) he is now seven months old and 40 kgs. Last but not least is Alabama, who we bought in May, she hadn't had a good life but settled in straight away and is now very happy. All of our dogues are brought up in a loving, caring enviroment, with lots of long walks in the country, to keep them fit and healthy.

Shimano Dogue de Bordeaux are a small show kennel located in Surrey South East England close to London Gatwick Airport so international shipping is easily available.
Shimano have exported Champions worldwide we also import champions from the worlds greatest Kennels to ensure the excellence we are renound for.
Shimano owned the UKs first official top Dogue de Bordeaux and first Championship Import winner in 2001 and also Top Bitch in the same year even though several other Kennels lay claim to this.
We at Shimano are both Championship show Judges and have both served on the Dogue de Bordeuax club of GB committee since its inception currently as the secretary and treasurer.
Shimano are more than happy to give advice and guidance to new and old owners alike in order to improve our beloved breed.
Shimano Dogue de Bordeaux are generally sort after and we always have a waiting list for puppies we rarely breed as quality not quantity counts here so early booking is advisable.

Guardmoore Dogue De Bordeaux was founded in 2007. We are a small select kennel based in Essex. Our aim is to promote healthy dogs sound in type and temperament. We aim to achieve the best breeding standards and strive to be among the best in the breed. All our dogs are loved equally no matter how they do in the ring. Along with our bullmastiffs we have just started in the world of Dogues. With our first dog being from the world famous Jerivindi Kennels. Jerivindi Taurus - Taurus is a fantastic little boy. Sound in type and temperament. He really has brought our kennel to life! He's a lovely deep red and is perfectly constructed. He really enjoys training for the show ring and shortly he will be out strutting his stuff both in the UK and Europe. We truly believe in starting off our kennel with the best pedigrees around, and Taurus's will be a hard one to match. It includes World Famous Temple Felson as his grand sire. World Famous and First Irish Champion Zorbre as his great grandsire. And Zorbre's son IR Ch Alfie! Taurus will undergo the relevant health screenings once he reaches a suitable age. Tartuffe was estabished in 1982 by Sue and John Reynolds, our
sister-in-law and brother. The affix was transferred to ourselves
following the death of Sue in a fatal car accident.
Our belief system around our dogs is fairly simple but takes a
lot of time and energy to achieve. We believe in good food and
plenty of free running. We feed a natural diet which is not
everyones choice but our dogs and puppies have thrived on it
for many years now !! We are fortunate enough to live in a rural
setting and have the opportunity to exercise the dogs in our field
and the surrounding woodland.
The other, and perhaps most important part of our care regime,
is the time we spend just loving on our dogs. We love if they are
successful at shows but have come to realise that the best dogs
don't always win the biggest prizes! The prize is having them as
part of our life.
We welcome visitors to our kennel to meet our four legged
family and share what we feel privileged to enjoy on a daily
basis!! |

Based on the South West coast of Wales UK, we share our home with the awesome Bullmastiffs and Dogue de Bordeaux. We have successfully campaigned our Dogues over the last few years, and have recently produced a fabulous litter of very promising Bullmastiff pups, Graecia Sired.
