Ocassional breeders of Alaskan Malamutes, whom are family pets, that Show & Work successfully, to prove they are worthy to continue their lines and have the correct breed conformation (this is something that cannot be guessed by pet breeders or breeders that do not Show !). Please make sure ANY puppies you view have parents that are are HIP SCORED & EYE TESTED CLEAR YEARLY TO ELIMINATE Hip Dysplasia and Hereditary Cataracts that is prominent in ALL Malamutes. Ask to see original Certs and check with the KC or the BVA with the parents kennel names. Check the breeder shows their dogs to breed standard. (Anyone can breed a badly bred pet Malamute that bears little resemblance to the breed !) Don't send a deposit, accept delivery or pay more than £850, unless the Pups DIRECT Parents are UK Champions. Champions in the lineage bear little relevance 3 or 4 generations back ! Ask breeder if they work their dogs and if they are willing to take back a pup if you can no longer keep it, at whatever age !
