Hello and welcome to Seijitsu Akitas, We are a small show kennel located on the edge of the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire. Myself and my husband have been involved with Akitas for the last 6 years, we are now in our second year of Championship showing and we absolutly love it. Listed are some of our achievements from 2007:Reserve Best In Show - All breed Open Show level, Reserve Best Puppy In Show - Championship Level, Best Puppy Dog In Breed - Championship Level, Numerous 1st Placings - Championship & Open Level, Utility Group Placings - Open Level, Numerous Best Of Breed Placings - Open Level, Numerous Reserve Best Of Breed Placings-Open Level, Numerous Best Puppy In Breed - Open Show Level. More recently our male was awarded his Reserve Challenge Certificate qualifying him for CRUFTS for life and gaining his stud book number all at the tender age of 18 months. Hi we are Maxine and Hollie Murray.We live in scunthorpe north lincolnshire and have been breeding Akita's since 1991 when the Tikasa kennel's was founded. (Affix awarded 1993). Due to the Akita "breed spilt" we put our breeding program on hold, while we decided which way to go, as we bred to produce the genetic's that would produce both black mask's and white face's in the same litter, because of this we exported to Jamica. We have now decided to go the "American" way and try to recapture the look that we first fell in love with.
We breed firstly for Temperament, all our Akita's have fantastic temperament's. We try to keep our line's as old possible so the Akita's we produce are tall, well boned dog's with big head's .
Although we do have kennel's our dog's spend 90% of their time in the house and garden. They all mix well together and spend most of the day running around and playing. Obviously more than 2 dogs create a pack environment and there will be times, for various reasons, that dogs need to be spilt. First and formost we class our dog's as family pet's that can be bred from and shown. Our aim is to produce the family pet that could win crufts, (wouldn't we all like that!).

Katsuko Akitas. We are a small show kennel based in the Northwest of England. We have owned dogs for over twenty years but have been showing Akitas at Championship Show level for the last three. When we where introduced to the breed it was just love at first sight. Akitas are large, powerful, alert, with much substance and heavy bone. Our dogs are pets as well as show dogs, they are raised within the home environment and surrounded by normal family life. This gives them an excellent temperament and makes them a brilliant companion. To ensure we have rounded and well behaved dogs we also attend the Kennel Clubs Good Citizen Award Classes. Our dogs are currently taking Obedience classes and we will be competing in this field shortly. If you need any help or advice do not hesitate to call us. The Banzai Kennels were established in 1985 and are a small hobby show kennel based in Bradford, West Yorkshire who believe in quality rather than quantity and aim to produce puppies from parents of good breed type and temperament. The Banzai Akita's are well socialised family pets first and show dogs secondly who are successfully shown at Championship Show and Open Show level. All our puppies are lovingly reared in the home, handled daily and socalised. Puppies leave fully wormed and come with 6 weeks free insurance, puppy pack, diet sheet, KC Registration and a lifetime of support and advice.

We are now embarking on a new and exciting venture - Rokushii Akita's. We are intending to breed Danti's Foxy Lady (Roxy) in the future and extend our family further. There are few Akita Breeders in the South East, as we found out when we decided to add an Akita to our family. This led us to decide to establish our own breeding line and give other's the opportunity to experience the joy of having an Akita in their own family.
