As a novice to the show ring I read and subsequently bought this book. It has proved absolutely essential to me. Jackie's clear and comprehensive discriptions of the dogs and how to look after them is very easily understood and I have found that by following her recommendations and instructions I can get as near to perfect as a novice can be. It has given me greater confidence at shows and the dogs are still the most important part of both my and my husbands lives. You cannot get better tuition than from an expert like Jackie.
