I am 50 years old and have shared all but the last few years with a succession of wonderful canine friends. My business combines my passion for dogs with 25 years of working in the healthcare and service sector (nursing and respite care) and my desire is to provide an easily modified service designed (with your input) to best suit your specific requirements. I am currently undertaking a Level 3 diploma in Canine Studies, to better equip myself to provide you with professional support in terms of nutrition, health care, first aid and behavioural issues. However, my own experience spans involvement in raising litters, care throughout all stages of life, training and exhibition, with a special interest in understanding natural behaviours – dogs as dogs. Prior to setting up Custom Canine Care I have been boarding small animals for many years, have provided holiday care for friends and family’s dogs and also ‘house-sit’ regularly while people are taking a break. I am inspected and lisenced by North Tyneside Council as a home boarding facility, am a member of NarpsUK, CRB (police)checked and fully insured to care for your dogs.
